When someone says "I don't know who I am" or "I need to find myself," what does this mean? You perceive your sense of identity as this cluster of static ideas -- your tastes at this particular moment in time -- but it is actually a dynamic concept. Slice it as you wish. The person you are today is not the same as the person you are tomorrow or were yesterday.
